Weekly Contest
Most weeks*, we’ll run a new contest inspired by a prompt.
Some contests will focus on micro-fiction, and others will encourage submissions of images and other media in addition to writing.
Note: We’re taking a hiatus from the weely contest.

Sometimes it’s $25 USD as a single prize, sometimes it’s multiple smaller prizes, and sometimes it’s products from SoftCopy like books or t-shirts. We like to change it up.
How do I enter?
We’ll post new prompts and instructions to the SoftCopy Blog.

How is the winner chosen?
Some contests will be determined by voting**, some will be determined by us, and sometimes we’ll have a guest judge.

Rights
By entering, you grant SoftCopy non-exclusive rights to use the material for publication or promotion. The copyright remains yours. You can re-publish it anywhere you like. We can publish it to the web or include it in compilations for publication or promotion as well, giving you attribution.

* We’ll run these pretty much every week, with a few breaks, until we don’t.
** It is at SoftCopy’s discretion to determine if any funny business merits a disqualification. You can win at most once per calendar month.
