About SoftCopy Publishing

SoftCopy Publishing is based in San Francisco. We publish books for the iPad and Kindle, building them from the ground up through calls for submissions and scouting on Twitter, Facebook, SF writing groups and online writers’ resources like Duotrope.

SoftCopy was founded by Valerie Nygaard, a computational linguist and search engine engineer with the hubris to think, “Publish a collection? I can do that.” Her super-secret email address is v@softcopypublishing.com.
